“GOK is a “Learning center” in every sense of the word. When Klayton joined the GOK family , he was coming from an environment that lacked behavioral structure, physical activities, and academic challenges. We have seen a 180 degree turn-around from then to nearly 1 year later now! He has shown a tremendous level of growth and maturity behaviorally, physically, and academically. The whole-child is considered and nurtured at all times at GOK Day Care. It also helps to have our son in a place that embodies the same values regarding discipline and education as we do at home. “When Maliyah first started attending Garden of Knowledge in September, she wasn’t potty trained. As much as we tried at home, she just wasn’t getting the hang of it. Now I am pleased to say Maliyah is fully potty trained and she goes to the bathroom on her own. Maliyah has improved significantly in the past few months. She sings in French, her vocabulary has increased, and she is very aware of her surroundings. She loves to attempt to read books herself based on the pictures. She also loves when we read to her. Every day she comes with something new to show us or tell us in excitement of what she learned at GOK Day Care. Before Maliyah attended GOK Day Care she was familiar with the staff due to her cousin attending. We have always felt comfortable with them. I love the fact that I can send her to a day care that she loves and they love her back. She always looks forward to attending school and to see her friends. “After visiting several pre-schools in our neighborhood, we were automatically sold after our tour of this facility. Our daughter has attended Garden of Knowledge Day Care & Learning Center for the past ten months. The preschool education that she has received thus far has exceeded our expectations. “We moved back to Brooklyn in March of last year from Long Island. We were very concerned about placing Stephen in a day care where all he would do is play and watch TV. We were happy to say Garden of Knowledge Day Care has eased all of our worries. GOK is more than just a day care; the children are constantly learning. Stephen can now sing nursery rhymes in French, button and unbutton his sweater, identify coin denominations, and read simple sentences. GOK Day Care also played a tremendous role with potty training Stephen. This was a big milestone for Stephen and he is a very stubborn child; however with their dedication he is now fully potty trained.
